The Game of LIFE...

My game of LIFE has gotten more complicated to say the least. Since getting my new job, I have been in the classroom everyday since July 9th (except for one week when we went camping in VA). I am tired people! Just so very tired and school hasn't started yet. BUT it is a good tired!! I am enjoying getting back in the saddle. Although, it is much harder to do with 2 children in toe. They have been wonderful. While in the classroom they make boxes into rocket ships, pretend to have picnics on the rug, Emma helps me sort books and stickers, and they sometime watch movies.

Oh, and at home, the renovations/addition is really getting up to speed now. The excavator was here yesterday and dug out all the dirt for the footings. Soon the walls will be poured and then it will be time for the framer to come in. I can't believe all this is happening at once.

Oh, and then...my sister in law who is watching Timmy for a couple of hours in the morning before bringing him to school for me...called on Thursday and told me she couldn't...PLEASE people, do you understand what a blow this was??!! So now I need to ask my mom if she could do it for me. He will get to school an hour before I wanted him to, but it is better than me dropping him off at 7:30 in the morning. Oh, the mommy guilt!

On a good note, I went shopping yesterday with the 2 kids and my aunt for back to school clothes for all of us. I made out so well I could just bust. Let's just say my credit card now whats to explode from the amount of bills that went on it yesterday. Timmy has all of his back to school clothes. Emma has some, but the store don't seem to have any long sleeve shirts out for girls yet. I will need to keep looking for that.

I had no luck with shoes. My feet are very bad and I have bunions (I HATE that word!) on both of them. I will be calling the doctor this week to have them looked at. I will need to schedule surgery to have them taken care of. Of course, now that I have a job they become a real problem. But the 6 years I took for maternity they didn't cause a problem. So I will need to schedule around the days off from school. It will all work out. Just stinks I have to take care of this the first year I am back to work.

Ok, the children are fighting. They have been together waaaaaaaaaaaay too much.

Here are a few pictures from a vacation in VA.

HI Tracy! That sunset is beautiful!!!! And I love the family picture. Why is it so darn difficult to get everyone looking at the camera and smiling at the same time? Bribery doesn't even work anymore. Good luck on the sitter front. I can't wait to hear about your school escapades. Lisa

Wonderful Tracy.. I can't wait to heard how you school year starts off... I thought it was crazy just getting two kids ready for school much less getting a classroom ready on top of it.

Wow! You've been in the classroom in early July? Are you just getting everything set up and ready or do you already have in-service? When does school start up there?

I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to hear all about your kindergarten (and working after 6 years off!) adventures. And girl, we need some pictures of the construction at your house!!!

Great pictures of your vacation. You look awesome and tanned!!!

Miss you :)

Tracy, those are great pictures. The location looks so beautiful! Were you all able to play/swim in the river, or was that not an option? It looks so inviting. Everyone (adults and kids alike) look so healthy and happy! I don't know why I pictured you with brown hair:) I typically don't picture people to look anything how they look!

When does the school year start? It must be coming up soon. Good luck!
